

Social SmokersI'm getting increasingly angry and dismayed by people who consider themselves 'social smokers' and find this acceptable. These people smoke, but only at parties or with friends. I find this disgraceful. In health in Year 7, we learnt about peer pressure, namely people smoking or drinking because their friends are, and they want to fit in. At the time I thought that this was stupid, that we are smarter than that, they have it all wrong, these 50-something teachers have no idea what young people are really like.
